Previous Dance experience is a prerequisite when applying for the BA Hons degree Theatre Dance. A-level dance is desirable but not essential. Initial selection is made on the basis of the application form and successful candidates will be invited to attend the first stage of the audition process. We normally ask for 280 A-Level UCAS Tariff points or an overall pass with Distinction at BTEC National Diploma. The minimum entrance requirements also include English Language and Maths and three other GCSE's grade A-C.

English Language Requirements

Applicants whose first language is not English must complete the British Council IELTS academic test at 6.5 or above (with minimum 6.0 in all four components) or show evidence of an equivalent level of achievement. Middlesex University also offers an Intensive Academic English course (Pre-Sessional) that ranges from 5-17 weeks, depending on your level of English. Successful completion of this course would normally meet English language entry requirements for London Studio Centre.
