ENROLMENT
ENROLMENT Applicants who have been accepted on the Theatre Dance

duration. In order to secure a place, the Enrolment Form should be completed and returned with the
enrolment fee (all cheques payable to London Studio Centre) to the Auditions' Administrator within four weeks of the
audition date.
Self-funding Degree students enrolling at the London Studio Centre must also pay an
additional fee to register with the University. All non-E.U. nationals who require a student visa
must pay a deposit which will be reimbursed at the end of their course. Please note that all
students must have private medical insurance by the commencement of the course.
TUITION
FEES
Please follow the link for full details of current fees.
Cheques should be made
payable to the London Studio Centre. Fees are payable termly in advance but an annual invoice will
be sent unless termly invoices are requested from the Financial Controller. In cases of hardship, special
arrangement for payment of tuition fees can be considered by the Director. These arrangements must
be confirmed in writing. Overseas students should pay by a sterling bankers draft drawn on a U.K.
Bank. Receipts will be issued by the Financial Controller.
Notice in writing of the proposed withdrawal
of a student must be given to the Registrar at least one full term in advance. Failure to give due
notice will entail payment of the full fee due. Fees are not returnable in the case of a student
leaving a course, or missing part of a course, for any reason (including illness).
HEFCE
FUNDING Awarded on the basis of talent, since September 2004 the Higher Education Funding
Council for England (HEFCE) has agreed to fund the tuition fees of students on the Centre's
Degree Programme. The scheme applies equally to all EU students, however the number of funded
places is under annual review. Places are awarded specifically on the basis of talent, as determined
at audition. The scheme also provides access to the student support/loan schemes.
SCHOLARSHIPS A limited number of scholarships is available annually, including the Dame
Anna Neagle Award, which is given to a student selected by a representative from the Cameron
Mackintosh Production Company. The auditions for these scholarships are by invitation only and are
held during the Summer Term. The scholarships vary in value and are always for tuition fees
only. Recipients are requested to undertake small duties around the college. The London Studio
Centre has the right to revoke the scholarship at any time. (Bodies wishing to support
Scholarships are invited to contact
the Director)
CHARITABLE
TRUSTS Some charitable trusts have helped finance students in the past, and directories
listing the various grant making trusts should be available at your local library. Some further information
about grants, funds, loans and bursaries is available as a PDF from this link.
