There is a fully equipped body conditioning studio which is open all day for use by students who wish to work under the supervision of the full time Pilates trained teacher.

The De Valois Studio THEATRE is used regularly for the in-house production of plays and dance as well as for larger seminars and lectures. This facility is supported by the wardrobe room where a large collection of ballet and theatre costumes collected over the years is supervised by a resident wardrobe mistress.

There is also a scenery workshop and make-up studio fitted out as a theatre dressing room.

The LIBRARY was completely modernised and refurbished to coincide with the introduction of the new degree programme. It now houses an ever increasing collection of books, journals, visual and audio material as well as slide collections, play scripts and musical scores. There are eight video booths, large screen video monitors, computers for the students' use, fixed and free standing shelving and fixed work surfaces providing a study area. A fully computerised loan and classification system is operated by the resident librarian

The PHOTOGRAPHIC STUDIO has a wide range of equipment and the resident professional photographer can undertake portfolio work for students. This studio also houses video cameras for training in television technique and production, and for students' self assessment. There is also a sound recording studio with a full complement of electronic sound equipment.

The London Studio Centre also has a fully equipped consulting room, available for use by the medical specialists who visit; a subsidised canteen providing an excellent range of meals and snacks and also a large selection of dancewear, including shoes and tracksuits, available from our own shop operated on the premises by a member of staff.
