Amanda Courtney-Davies The company was established in 1994 to present a short season of evening long programmes of jazz dance. Performances are toured throughout the U.K. at established theatres. The company performs works which have been specially commissioned from experienced choreographers. These have included Kevan Allen, Adrian Allsopp, Stewart Avon-Arnold, Chris Baldock, Jeanefer-Jean Charles, Patrick Delcroix, Bill Drysdale, Alan Harding, Leon Hazlewood, Claud Paul Henry, Dollie Henry, Alicia Herrero Simon, Pearl Jordan, Anthony van Laast, Lorraine Le Blanc, Gavin Lee, David Leighton, Matt Mattox, Stephen Mear, David Needham, Robert North, Sparky, Jenny Thomas, Mauricio Wainrot, Derek Williams and Nikki Woollaston.

London Studio Centre has an impressive record of students successfully finding work in the mainstream of commercial theatre. Engagements include contracts with classical jazz companies, such as Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal (Canada), Djazzex (Holland), Souls in Motion (UK), Zoots and Spangles (UK), and JazzXchange (UK). Many others have been employed in leading West End shows, such as Cats, The Lion King, Fosse, Chicago, Crazy for You, Fame, Grease, Riverdance, Starlight Express and Saturday Night Fever.
