SUMMER PROGRAMME of FUTURE PERFORMERS CLASSES 2012
London Studio Centre provides a choice of fun and exciting summer programmes to satisfy the needs of young dancers wishing to pursue a career in dance, develop technique and for those who simply love to dance and want to have fun! Our Senior Future Performers Course is designed for those students aged 15 and above who may be thinking of entering full time dance training. Our programmes will allow you the unique opportunity to experience student life at London Studio Centre and offer you the opportunity to work with our highly regarded teaching faculty, many of whom are current or past West End performers. This five day course is available specialising in either Ballet, Jazz Dance, Contemporary Dance or Music Theatre. We also run a five day Foundation in Jazz/Music Theatre, for those students with less experience, but who wish to progress further in all styles of dance. In addition, we offer a three day course in Hip Hop/Commercial Dance. See below for programme descriptions and sample timetables. London Studio Centre's Junior Future Performers Course is ideal for the younger dancer (12-14 years), interested in dance and wanting to learn new skills to progress while, at the same time, having fun. As with all our summer programmes, classes are taught by experienced teachers, many of whom have had professional performance experience. Classes include Classical Ballet, Jazz Dance, Singing/Voice technique and Tap. See below for a course description and sample timetable. On the final day of all courses, students will present a showcase of their work, which family and friends are welcome to come and watch. Students will also receive a free T-shirt and a certificate of attendance on successful completion of the programme. Numbers permitting, specialised training for boys will be offered.
